About Me -原宿-

My name is Melissa and my passion is Japan, Japanese Culture and the Japanese language. I have studied Japanese for 4 years and I currently volunteer in an ESL department at a nearby school. I am undecided on my major but I am thinking about becoming an ESL teacher and my blog is going to be about Japanese Culture. Please enjoy!

Melissa -

I love the sight and the picture. I look forward to sharing another class with you and all the excitement of English 112. Maybe by the end of this class you will have us all writing our names in Japanese!

I just had to respond again...what a great, energy-inspiring blog! You really know your stuff here. I am excited to learn more about the language of the country where my parents met and got married! I was fascinated at your language lesson in your first blog post. The symbols from the two alphabets (Hiragana and Kanji)seem to have similar elements from some of your examples. That's interesting from a language-evolutionary standpoint.
